Selkirk Recreation Complex

The Selkirk Recreation Complex (located at 180 Easton Drive) opened its doors in 1992 and since then has played an integral part in community fitness and hosting special events.  The complex contains an indoor ice surface which is available for rental between September and April.  Any winter season special event request must be submitted in writing.
 
During the winter season free Walk/jog and Free skating programs are available.  Please see below for opening hours.
 
Walk/jog program (September - April)
The complex is open daily Monday to Friday (8am to 2pm) for those looking to take their fitness routines indoors.  Walk or jog around the perimeter of the arena.  Please register with your name and phone number at the  Economic & Community Development Department - 785-4950.
 
Free Public Skating
Free Public Skating hours are available at the Rec Complex on Monday to Friday, and at the Selkirk Arena on Monday to Friday & Sundays.  No sticks or pucks are permitted.  Click here to view the Free Public Skating Schedule.  The schedule is posted on our website under Public Notices, and under Play/Recreation programs/Free Skating 2011-2012.  You can also check the schedule on the bulletin boards in both Arenas or call the Economic & Community Development Department - 204-785-4950. 
 
The complex offers the option of renting the lobby, banquet hall, ice surface or any combination of these areas.  The banquet facility is licensed for 500 people, featuring a modern kitchen, bar services and fully finished banquet capabilities.  There are a number of parking lots available for large crowds.
